Dreams

All you need to stay alive,

Are the dreams you dream in your life.

Follow your heart to view what you want to see;

Then whatever you want is what it will be.

Let your heart be your guide,

To let out what you keep inside.

You give up your dreams,

For whatever reason why;

You give up your dreams,

And then you die.

There’s something you want deep down in your heart;

But something keeps you and it apart.

You hold on hard;

You hold on long;

So the dreams you have,

Won’t soon be gone.

You know what you need;

You know what you want;

So do yourself a deed,

And follow your heart.

But remember what you’ll do to keep it alive;

It takes time like years,

One, two, or maybe five.

For dreams you might have to wait;

It’s when they come true that’s really great.
