Dreaming Of the Future
In a dream of the future, I saw the world change
In ways both strange and wild
Skyscrapers reached to the stars, machines did our bidding
But somehow, the world was still riled
Everything seemed so crazy, so out of control
I couldn't tell what was real or fake
But as I walked through this world of the future
I realized; it wasn't all at stake
For as I looked around, I saw love and compassion
In the hearts of all those I met
I saw people working together, to make a better tomorrow
And I realized, we weren't done yet
This dream of the future had shown me a path
A path to a world that was new
Where technology and humanity coexisted in harmony
And all our dreams could come true
So, I woke up from my dream, feeling renewed
Grateful for the life I lead
And though the future may be unknown, I know
That all is well, now, and indeed
