I dream in color,

I see faces I don't know.

My soul begs me to leave,

but I have nowhere to go.

My eyes are open, but

my mind, adrift at sea.

Showing me visions

of where I need to be.

Running as fast

as my dreams will allow.

Torn between fantasy

and where I am now.

Dragons fire

burns faeries wings,

and I'm not certain

what this means.

But given the choice,

I'd choose that path.

And hope to survive

the Goddess' wrath.
