Dreamer's Mind
Inside a dreamer’s mind, hope wanders freely

Inside a dreamer’s mind, hope wanders freely
Among the most outrageous ideas you’ve ever had.
Mountains of plans for the future pile up here,
Next to a landscape you think of painting on Wednesday afternoon.
In the corner are your past dreams of princesses and fairies,
Now lying by your most recent aspirations of being a doctor or teacher.
Your plans on how to stop climate change are here too,
By the hot air balloon you imagine yourself flying in.
There are postcards of places you want to see one day,
By your instructions on “how to make the world a better place,”
Which lie on top of the books you want to write and publish.
A few hobbies you want to try lay in a corner.
You sometimes wander here when you are bored,
Enjoying all your ingenious ideas and solutions.
And no matter how long and hard you search,
You will not find a single “I can’t” or “This is impossible.”
Only a thousand dreams.
