Dream of Mine

I had a dream that was so strange and wild

I couldn't believe it, it made me smile

I was flying through the air with ease

The wind in my hair, the world at my feet

I soared over mountains and valleys so deep

I felt free as a bird, my soul did leap

But as I flew, the sky began to shift

Colors swirling, a strange glitch in the rift

I landed on a planet made of candy floss

Where the sun was a lollipop and the grass was gloss

I met creatures there that were small and sweet

They invited me to dance on their tiny feet

We twirled and we twirled, it was so much fun

I knew that this dream would come to an end soon

But I didn't want to leave, I wanted to stay

In this land of wonder, where dreams never stray

So I closed my eyes and willed it to be

That this dream would last, at least for a day

And when I woke, I was sad to find

That it was all just a crazy dream of mine
