Dream Materialized

When I adhered to good judgment, awareness and discipline

I was in the middle of infertility,

having a child seemed impossible.

We are traditional people—

we believe marriage and children,

as major milestones in life.

I was sad and down,

But I never took a harmful path,

not even in the depth,

of desperation unfulfillment.

Not even hormonal medications.

Instead, I started nurturing a garden.

and I got myself a watercolor set.

Whenever I felt burnout,

of my reading or writing sessions,

I would sit quietly and paint—

to my heart’s content,

on any theme I wanted.

One of those paintings,

was of a little girl,

clutching and pulling,

her stuffed teddy bears,

as if visualizing my longings.

My discipline didn’t go to waste,

in time, I had a little girl—

just like the one I had painted—

who pulled her toys with strings,

and clutches her plush toys.

I manifested my dream,

by combination of right judgment,

awareness, and discipline.

So my advice is this:

many problems can be solved—

if we care enough, and

approach with proper wisdom.
