Drawn closer in the first days of Autumn.

It was on the month of September,

The summer had start to fade,

Seeds began to scatter,

The farmers would switch their trade,

Winds became much cooler,

Autumn leaves had began to shrivel,

The thought of holidays, wanting them sooner,

With love to draw closer, a loving couple.

Dressed in the warmest clothing,

Drawn together with arms around,

The sun that set into the west,

With birds to make their sound.

He drew her close, their eyes would stare,

His love to show with tender care,

With hands upon the palm of her face,

Her eyes would give a clue,

"Such days are better spent,

When they are spent, with you..."
