dragonfly tamer
nature’s gamer
she whispered all her buried secrets
to the winged creature
who whispered back
about how hundreds of years ago
due to richer oxygen
he’d have grown much, much larger
with wings that sounded like racing horses
they sure had a way
they bounded off free
through their words that flew
on their conversation
