Have you ever felt true joy
Dose that type of joy really exist in this world
Is it even possible on earth
Joy with a life full of trial and tribulations
A world filled with darkness with little light
You want joy here
I can only manage to give you a fake smile here and there
People with joy don’t seem like they really care
They don't care about other people's pain and other people darkness

But you can spread your joy to them
You can shine a little more light into this world
You can pray for all of them and show that you care
Lean a helping hand with joy
Smile to bring hope to others
Smile to bring hope to yourself
No, this world ain't joyous
But there is joy beyond this world
And peace in knowing that this is just a temporary place
We have an forever home in heaven
And that's where everlasting joy and peace come from
Also, remember Jesus didn't leave us here alone
He gave us the Holy Spirit, to guide us through the pain and the darkness
It’s the joy that comes from within
That abides in the mist of all the trials and tribulations
Not the fake joy, that comes from worldly sin
The Holy Spirit give you peace so you can withstand the hardships of the world
So share in your peace and share in your joy
The world is sad, but the Lord offers so much Joy
Joy in fighting this spiritual warfare

Looking at the news, its really hard to be joyful, but joy don't come from the world, and there is hope in the Lord and knowing God’s word. I hope this inspires you and lift up your spirit. Don't ignore the news, but don't let it distract you from God’s truth. “Watch and pray”

Interesting content… I don’t believe this world is devoid of joy. I think physical pleasure is temporary and fades quickly but spiritual fulfillment brings true joy to the soul and of course, as you mentioned, in the world to come there is eternal joy and light!
