hundreds of friends yet so few by my side

In a world where an uploaded selfie means more than your words of truth has you feelin like what's the use

No one wants to think anymore... We're all too tired from simply tryin to survive and some thrive.

But that's the trick ain't it? The distraction.

When all you have time for is work and a bit of play it's damn near impossible to act on any information you may find that sheds light through the curtain

So when some of us do they make us sound like we're lapsin'.

Losin' touch with reality and uncertain.

But we're so certain it hurts to view the world through their foggy lenses

We'd rather go without and get some dust in our eyes so that later we could do some cleansin'.
