34 Felony Counts: The Choice to Be Ignoramus

Verse 1:

34 felony counts, a record so long

A barrier to employment, a future so wrong

Can't get hired, can't make a living too

A mistake in the past, a lifetime to get through

Chorus:

Project 2025, a foundation to lay

Clean slate from the start, a brighter way

No room for errors, no space for shame

A leader's integrity, we must proclaim

Verse 2:

Votin2g rights denied, a voice silenced too

A second chance, but not for me and you

We want our leaders, to be beyond reproach

Not ex-cons with records, but a clean slate to approach

Chorus:

Project 2025, a foundation to lay

Clean slate from the start, a brighter way

No room for errors, no space for shame

A leader's integrity, we must proclaim

Bridge:

We're building a future, where trust is key

No room for felons, in the White House, you'll see

A new generation, with a clean slate mind

Leaders with integrity, leaving the past behind

This Addresses:

- The struggle to find employment with a criminal record

- The denial of voting rights for those with felony convictions

- The importance of a clean slate for leaders in Project 2025

- The need for integrity and trust in those who hold public office

THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I've been wanting to write something like this but wasn't sure if it was allowed. You had much more courage than I would have had. I agree with you completely. Bravo on a piece so well written and so badly needed to be told.
