Don’t Tell It Is A Secret
"Don’t tell," he said, with fingers tight,
"No one would ever see it right."
"You’re special, rare, just meant for me,"
"But love like ours must silent be."
She held his words inside her chest,
A buried weight, a whispered rest.
His wedding ring, a shining lie,
She learned to smile, but not ask why.
A stolen touch, a hidden call,
A love that wasn’t love at all.
She traced the scars he left behind,
A story told but never signed.
She wore the silence like a chain,
A quiet oath wrapped tight in pain.
His love was hunger, sharp and deep,
A secret promise she must keep.
Nights grew colder, days stretched long,
Her heart still hummed his twisted song.
She watched his children laugh and run,
A life she’d never touch—not one.
He kissed her lips, then turned away,
Back to the home where love was in play.
While she was left in shadows dark and dim,
A nameless girl who lived for him.
Deeply yet, inside her, the echoes grew,
A voice once small now pushing through.
"Don’t tell," he said but secrets rot,
And she was left with what she’s got.
One day she’d speak, let truth unwind,
Let darkness break, leave shame behind.
For love should never come with chains,
Or whispered threats, or quiet pain.
It’s a secret he said tell no one at all,
If you do we’re over, I will never call.
Tears rolled she felt abused, so cheated
She knew her story would never be completed.
