Don't Speak About It

I do not blame you for your ignorance,
At one point, I did not have the knowledge either.
Since learning all that I now know,
I keep the words safe inside my mouth.
.
To speak the facts in the setting presented,
Would result in damnation and might tilt your world on its side.
I fear you may not be able to comprehend the power of what I will tell you,
For I believe your stance on the topic is dangerous to our future.
If only I could explain to you how everything you have been told has been a lie,
But you believe it so strongly, it makes me feel so sad for you when I hear you mention it.
I have many first hand accounts and the personal studies to back my details,
And yet, if I do not present the facts in a delicate manner, you will debate me.
There is not enough time in our day for me to share everything with you,
It would take multiple sessions to unpack it all, and I hope you can listen.
But if you had the knowledge and experiences that I keep,
I believe you would see that there is hope, that it is not so black and white.
I hope to share all that I hold inside, with you one day,
I think it will help you to understand and see clearly.
Not everything fits perfectly into the box you believe it arrives in.
Sometimes, once you unpack it, it is impossible to fit together perfectly again.
The pieces are uniquely misshapen, and like a puzzle, it can be hard to conquer.
There are so many pieces you are unaware of, some with pieces inside of pieces.
It takes time and diligence to organize each moving piece, and sometimes not all of the pieces fit.
But it is not impossible to work through, you just need to know where to start.
The puzzle waits for the awakening of the closed minds, the blinded by deception, and the mislead,
But not everyone has the time to wait for the rest to catch up.
Some seek their own knowledge, even if it's the less popular opinion,
Because those who see clearly everyday can work to make a change for the future.

I remember writing children's books when I was a still a child myself, stapling the notebook pages together to create the binding for my book. I know many children have probably done this, but have any of them wanted it as bad as I did?
