Don’t Order While Starving

Finding your own pace in a world that tells you to rush

You will only meet someone in a good state when you are in one yourself. Like attracts like; if you are in a negative space, the people you draw toward you won't be much better.

You might feel envious seeing so many people in relationships, but don't enter one just because you are lonely. When you crave companionship too desperately, you risk settling for someone unsuitable.

Don’t rush things just because everyone around you seems to be doing well. Don’t wait until you’re starving to order takeout, because you’ll be too hungry and choose unhealthy food. Everyone has their own pace, and finding your own pace is more important than finding the "right" person.

Everyone has a destined partner. If you haven’t met yours yet, it is because you have other life lessons to learn right now.

For now, focus on being yourself. Work hard at the job you love, cultivate your interests, and enjoy your life. You can eat hotpot alone, spend weekends alone, and strive to advance your career.

Being single is a gift because life becomes simpler. You are no longer emotionally controlled by someone else; you no longer have to compromise or give in. During these single days, you can reserve all your gentleness, patience, and love for yourself.

Many who are married will tell you that relationships involve a great deal of sacrifice and effort. So, before you meet the right person, live in the moment and be kind to yourself first.
