Don’t Need To Be Here

I don’t need to be there- I am done.

I have done more than my fair share nothing to show for it

They do not deserve any more of me - I must purge them from my mind- not allow them any more space

I must put ego aside- it is not who I am- I got way less than I gave- fair beginnings- bad end

Time to move on- no looking back, no expectations, no guilt-

I was superlative, I got mediocre. I was strong, they were weak, unable to stand up and step up

Yes indeed when people show you who they are - believe it- don’t expect more than what is right in front of you- see it for what it is, not for what you want it to be

You can do better, you are better, worth it

You are the sun shining brilliantly even as darkness falls.
