Oh wounds, don't leave me in pain
And don't force my heart to split
And don't blame the mind if it becomes dreams
And is besieged by diseases and nightmares
Oh circumstances, don't torture me with people
They have grown old and become angry with the heart
And don't force me to forget a lover who left me in pain
The days have been patient and the months have passed and turned into years
So when, my bird, will you enjoy freedom and peace?
When will the doves sing the most beautiful melodies?
And the doves groan in disappointment
When will inspiration come to me
To fight an enemy who planted illusions in me
Oh wounds, don't refuse healing
Are you causing your mistress pain and illness?
And you know as I do
That sadness has driven me to commit crimes
So don't refuse my offer of peace
Because you don't know when I will spread my wings and surrender.
