Don't Give Drugs to Those Who Need Earnings
Depression can be avoided it people had meaningful jobs and robust relations

People are sad.
Why wouldn’t they be?
They spent decades
pursuing hard academics,
hoping to do meaningful work,
to earn and save.
But it’s not happening.
No one cares
for the knowledge and learning.
I write for multiple platforms—
a few dollars from each.
It won’t pay for anything.
Stress and frustration
are inevitable.
If I seek help,
I will be given drugs.
Really?
Is that a solution for the victim?
Sadness comes from
no earning,
no meaningful connection.
Yet the suggested answer is
medication—
of course businesses will
benefit from this approach.
It’s a crazy, dysfunctional world.
