Don’t follow me. I am a ghost
I am lost like you, so run.

Don’t follow me. I am a ghost
Don’t follow me, I am lost too,
Wandering paths I thought I knew.
The stars above, they dim, they fade,
Guides I trusted, now betrayed.
Each step I take feels wrong, unsure,
A heavy heart I can’t endure.
Don’t follow me, I cannot see,
The way ahead is mystery.
But if we trip, at least we’ll laugh—
Lost together on the wrong path!
To follow me would end in tears,
For I have haunted these woods for years.
That’s it—run now! “Yes,” you’ve seen a ghost,
Frightening people like you I love the most.
Don’t follow me, run fast as you can,
I’ll try to catch you—if I can!
For I am the spooky, ghostly man.
Run, now run fast as you can.

This is kind of an intriguing poem. Good job.
