Don't come out for me.
Come out for you.
.
No need for fanfare or announcements.
No pressure to say it in the right tone
or write it in the right font.
.
You don't need to tell anyone really.
.
But trust yourself
to know yourself
and love yourself.
Even that part.
.
And know I love that part of you, too.

Aww this is such a sweet poem! And a very good message.
Hi there! I’ve really been enjoying your poetry, it’s so earnest and humble. And this poem too, especially during Pride Month when there’s so much pressure sometimes, it’s so relevant. I wanted to let you know that we featured this poem in our queer vocal voices Facebook group. Would love to have you join if you’re interested :) It’s just an online queer space for queer writers and stories to flourish 😊
