Finding Peace in the Paradox of Progress
Life is yours, don’t push yourself hard, live a life of your own accord, do your best, and do your best.
All your pressure comes from wanting too much, and all your pain comes from being too serious. The boat moves forward because the oars are rowing backward. Slowness means stability, and retreat means advancement.
You can never guess at which intersection life will suddenly give you a bump; nor can you guess at which stage life will suddenly give you a piece of love.
Therefore, there is hope for the future and everything is the best arrangement.
