when your flesh is weak
and you want to give in
don't
when you've lost the will
and the resolve to fight
don't
when the mountains ahead
feel impossible to climb
don't
when the holes you've dug
feel like their caving in
don't

Love this one, Pal. Simple, yet powerful. Your inspirational pieces are perfect and always right on time.
To dig or not to dig, that is the question!? 🤔
This is a beautiful, uplifting poem Paul. I want it printed on a t-shirt! Or a mug! Anything!
Yes, this is like a sister poem to your previous one! Loved it! 🍩🥐
I wasn't sure whether the mountains but was meant be a don't give up, or a don't climb the mountain! And sometimes we do need to give ourselves permission to just rest.
Thank you for this.
great inspirational
Made me cry x In a good way 🤍
I won't, though the idioms in this country would indicate that "won't fight" & "won't climb those mountains" are very different than "won't give in" & "won't dig that hole".
