Don't

A Poem of Life and Hope

She said

Don’t take

The little moments

For granted

Because they

Are often the ones

That truly matter

Breathe in the

Fresh air

Take in a

Sunrise

Or sunset

And be sure

To dance

Whenever you

Feel the beat.

She said

Don’t ever

Let your inner child

Die

Because she’s so

Much a part of

You

And she

Shows you

How to enjoy

The precious

Moments

And she reminds

You

How to play.

She said

Don’t

Let hope

Die its a

One of our

Greatest gifts

So give it freely.

She said

Don’t forget

To laugh

Its like a healing balm

A medicine for

The soul.

Beautiful poem Michelle, and so much insight. I always told my kids, that when they grew up, they would find out the things that they remembered most fondly wouldn't have cost them a dime.
