~Dog life & People I like!~

I like People

Who drive cars

In their pajama's,

People who bring me

Their dogs

In first class array,

At 10 to 8 at night

Last minute...

Sitter was a no show!

People whose friendliness

I see

At first glance,

Earns a Great

BIG,

Hug of Hello

From me.

I'm not one

To go around

Giving out affection

Like that,

So if you see me

Do this...

Then it's clearly

Understood

That I'm testifying

I've just met,

Somebody that's

Good!

If you're someone

Getting a hug from me,

And we don't know

Each other,

Or we've just only met...

Then you deserve to

Pat yourself

On the back,

For being someone

I could see

Was needing something

Special,

From Someone

Just like me!

But what I'm really

Trying to say,

Is that meeting

Kind people

Seeing there ARE

Many still good,

Simply makes my day...

Puts a smile on

My face,

And makes me happy

To help!

The reward is in the giving

And the time I get to spend

With each new dog,

Helping out a Dog Parent

In their moments,

Of Need!

There's nothing better than

To end this poem

And my night,

Living it for real

Just like that!

Love IS the Answer

For it All,

And that's a Fact...
