Do You Think Stars Fall In Love?

A universal love story.

By Caitlyn WenzelPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

Do you think stars fall in love?

Their interstellar interactions

Are really

Romantic attractions,

And every supernova

Is super beautiful

Because they’re bursting with emotions?

Do they think the other is

Hot?

Does their love burn passionately?

Do they light up each other’s worlds,

Even when they’re worlds apart?

How does it start?

Is it a longing

Stretching far?

Connecting constellations

With heart strings…

I imagine a date between stars,

Twinkling and buzzing

With nervous energy.

Do they get butterflies

In their stomachs?

Or are those just solar flares?

Are stars throughout the universe

Separated into pairs?

Or are they polyamorous?

We’ll call them constellationships.

Do they compare their star signs,

To see if they’re compatible?

Their love is intergalactical

And I wonder,

Do they use clever pick up lines,

To attract one another?

Like,

“You and I are a binary star system–

Meant to revolve around each other.”
