Do you feed your demons?
Don't. Self-Reflective and inspirational poem

Do you feed your demons
When they're lurking
In your mind's eye
With open arm welcome
Like an old friend
Comfortable, deadly
Familiar, unsteady
Yet...welcome home
Do you feed your demons
When they're lurking
Instead, just stop
Starve and dehydrate
Then send then packing
lubricated in petrol
Immolate until ashes

Good tip! I will think about this when I am tempted to ruminate.
Wise words - I need to hold onto this idea!
😊👍Wish I could light mine up! 🔥 I’d make them my friends if I didn’t hate them so much!😁
Actually it's quite the opposite. It's my demons that feed me, lol. Loved your Paulitical poem! 🍩🥐
Feed them? they ate me out of house and home, my fridge is empty the cupboards bare. This was good
But some of them are just so darn cute! (At least that's how my wife describes our feelings toward our own personal sins/demons while being more than willing to be appalled at the utter monstrosities belonging to others.)
great poem
Actually.... they feed me😈 Muahahaha
Loved this, great job!
