Do Not Fear Death

This is not the end

By Adaline ArcherPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Wandering, always wandering

Looking for a place to rest

Searching, always searching

For a way to escape from this place

Countless years have passed away

Since he last felt something

Day and night look all too similar

Time has lost all meaning

He searches for a kindred soul

Who will make him understand

Who provide give him wisdom

Help him hatch a plan

This is not a blessing

It is the greatest curse

Watching your loved ones die before you

Stuck in between two worlds

On moonless cloudy nights, you might steal a glance

Of the shadow, a lost soul

Looking to find redemption or a second chance

Death is not the end

It is just a new beginning

Life is not the start

We have one foot in the grave from the moment we take our first breath

So do not be saddened when you know you have to die

Or take too much pleasure when you lead a long life

Because life is a big journey, just enjoy the trip

When the train of life stops at your station, we all have to take our last breath
