"Do I get up today?"

I ask myself while my mind runs away.

"Too much to think about, and too much to do."

My mind worries.

There are dishes to do, and washing to put away;

Then there is work, that never makes my day.

So; once more I roll over,

In silent slumber,

Because; in dreams, I can run away,

Waiting for the next day;

Only to find myself asking,

"Do I get up today?"

"Do I get up today?"

As the morning breaks,

My mind questions me again;

And in my mind, the answers lie,

"No! too many appointments, too many arguments,

too many people."

So; in my deep regression,

In this dark world of depression;

I fall into slumber,

And I give in.

I do not get up today;

And the cycle repeats,

The next day.

    Sigh, I know this feeling, but get up we must and hope to make something of the new day :)
