Divorce

A tempest born of pain

By Rose Wanjiku KimaniPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

In the realm where love once blossomed bright,

Now shadows cast, a bitter fight.

Divorce, a tempest born of pain,

Where hearts collide, their peace in vain.

Children caught amidst the fray,

Their innocent souls become the prey.

Torn between two worlds they yearn,

For love's embrace, a safe return.

Oh, cruel dance of bitter hearts,

When vows crumble, love departs.

Let's mend the rift, find common ground,

For in their eyes, true love is found.

May empathy reign, compassion soar,

Heal the wounds that they endure.

For in the tears of children's eyes,

Love's grace shall bloom, and cruelty dies.
