An acrostic poem

Drink!

Imbibe!

Succumb to one more

Tipple rather than taking any

Responsibility or

Acknowledging how

Crappy things are.

Toast to something silly;

Raise your glass and the roof; make everyone laugh

Always the life and soul of the party but

Coursing underneath the bluster -

Terrible secrets and sorrow.

Immerse yourself in the present is what you always say but

Only you know what simmers beneath the surface.

No-one sees your darkness, you won’t allow it. So pour another and sing along.
