Distortion

distortion

By MysteryPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Distortion, a twist of the truth

A bending of facts, a slant of proof

A deception, that clouds the mind

A false reality, that is hard to find

It distorts the picture, that we see

A mirage, that’s not meant to be

It warps our thoughts, and shapes our view

And blinds us to the truth, that’s true

Distortion, it’s a cruel disguise

A mask, that hides, what lies inside

It undermines, the trust we place

And tears apart, the bonds of grace

It spreads like fire, and grows with time

A cancer, that eats away, the peace of mind

It clouds the vision, and mars the sight

And leaves us lost, in a world of fright

So let us seek, the truth that’s real

And expose, the distortion, that we feel

For in the truth, we’ll find our way

And see the world, in a clearer day.
