missing love

Call for me loud and clear

As I gaze into my rounded mirror

I hear your voice so tender and sweet

It beckons me onto my feet

I walk for miles to distant sounds

Until your fading memory haunts me down

I crouch real low and begin to cry

My long lost love has said goodbye

Do I sit and wait

Or shall I wander

Who will I see or what will I find

Lost and lonely I search my mind

Give me an answer or just a clue

Any old reasoning will have to do

Confused and worn out

I let my heart pause

For in this reality

Our love was doomed

As a lost cause
