Disgrace and an Ugly Face

Poem

By Author Billiejo PriestleyPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

Disgrace and an ugly face

The truth that you think

Looking me in the face.

We try to hide it

You call us names

We run away hoping to be safe

Nasty and evil

A work of the devil they say

because we don't conform to your ways

We hide the truth

Misery and pain

Never a happy life

Never a happy face.

We show the real us

Happiness and love

but we get spat in the face

and you call us names

surreal poetry
