Disease of Rage

Poetic Ode of the memory of the Annunciation Catholic Church shooting victims, Iryna Zarutska and Charlie Kirk

By Jason APublished 4 months ago 1 min read

A delusional young man

Gunned down children at church

As the stained glass shattered

This devil watched from his perch

--------

With the evil force

Of his cold, hard knife

He took from this world

Her beautiful, young life

--------

With a bullet shot out

Driven by hate

They killed a speaker of truth

A patriot so great

--------

For far too long

Their disease of rage

Has festered and rot

To bring us to this stage

--------

They claim tolerance

They claim justice for the "oppressed"

But, their hearts are full of hate

And with this they are obsessed

--------

From Minneapolis and that train in Charlotte

To that Utah campus space

Their deranged rotten souls

Show all over their collective face

--------

They want the just to run

They want us to hide

Well fuck them

The truth is on our side

--------

No more shall we tolerate

No more will we stand by

They may try to destroy us

But truth's message will never die
