As the sun disappeared into the horizon

the night arrived, veiling over the forest.

I slept soundly, undisturbed,

peacefully exploring the dreamlands.

But I was ripped away from the peace

when the spirits of the forest

nudged me awake.

They whispered of your whereabouts,

and told me all of your secrets.

The hardest secret of yours to hear

was that you left me to find new love.

As my tears fell to the ground

flowers began to sprout up

and the fairies rejoiced

at the new life that was born

but I felt no joy.

My heart had crumbled,

my soul was torn,

and my entire being grew tired.

I wanted to rest for eternity,

to be alone for the rest of my days,

but the forest and all its spirits

kept me company.

The trees rocked me to sleep,

the nymphs sang to me,

and the fairies weaved their healing magic

through my soul, making me whole again.

I had lost myself in a love that did not serve me,

and the spirits of the forest promised to help me find myself again.

And as they helped me heal I felt the pain life and disappear into the night.

I felt lighter,

my soul was brand new,

and the fairies cast a spell.

Everything that was not for me

would disappear into the night

and never return into my life.
