If I were a snowflake stuck to the window of a cozy log cabin
Before I had the chance to melt
Maybe I'd catch the eyes of the cuddly couple lounging by the fireplace on top of the large, brown bear pelt
A glittery shimmer I would be
By the firelight
If might I be that bright to catch their attention
Interrupting their warm thoughts of affection
Should they glance in my direction
Surely a tiny drip of water from me might wander down the glass pane
Not sure if from the heat cast by the fireplace flame or the couple's passion they thought privately displayed
To them I would be pure
Just a mindless, white snowflake stuck upon their windowpane
Nothing more than water to melt and wash away like rain
But wouldn't they accuse each other insane if either knew I had half a brain?
Because this is my poem about if I were a snowflake stuck to the window of a cozy couple's lover's cabin
Although fresh fallen from the sky
Untouched by Earth's soil
Still be a dirty snowflake would I
To them I would just be frost on the glass
But I would actually be a sneaky spy
Enjoying my very own private show as a dirty lass disguised as snow
Hoping to see more than just hugs and kisses on that bear skin pelt next to the firelight glow
Then maybe they'll sit naked, and sip hot cocoa piled high with mini marshmallows
Happy then to melt this dirty little snowflake would be after the steamy scene
