Dinosaurs

A story of our suffering

By Oluwatelure Segun Joshua Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Dinosaurs.

In the house of honor

At the shores of Glory

So I heard the story

So much like dishonor.

Are the ones we voted

The few we trusted

The faces we wanted

On the roll were counted.

Draculas’ and Dinosaurs

Treacherously scooping what’s ours

Feeding on our treasuries

Smirking at our penuries.

Draculas’ and Dinosaurs

Can we fight the colossus?

Corruption hot at its depth

Our fathers fought them till they slept.

Monsters on rampage

Holocaust at their heels

Destruction more like the package

Telling lies with ease.

Lets rise above our fears

Lets take back our land

Lets build out of the tears

Make a beauty out of the sands.

Lets make our fathers proud

Lets scream of freedom loud

On the mountains and hills around

This land is glory bound.
