Who Is That In My Mirror

I feel like a dinosaur

with my flaky, scaley skin

I've seen others like me too, before

it's all stretchy and paper thin

*

I use the creams they brag about

to get the supple back

But I am beginning to have my doubts

that they will help with that

*

This makes me loud and grouchy

and I stomp and stamp around

My shoulders look all slouchy

and my belly hits the ground

*

Now I understand their temperament

I'm not quite feeling like myself

I'm afraid that I've been negligent

using the cheapest on the shelf

*

Does anybody have the cure?

This aging really stinks

I'm afraid it's more than I can endure

and too soon, I'll be extinct

Very relatable thing you made into a poem.

  • Lol, this was so relatable. I hate getting old. We need a powerful anti ageing hehehhehehe

Oh well, that's life. It happens to all of us.

  • Man oh man this is too relatable 🙃 Nicely done 👍 🌟💎

  • The 'anti-aging' thing is utter baloney in my opinion. DX It's all snake oil.
