To expire on the side of the road is the last thing I want. An online diary keeps me sane while the rest of the world goes insane. Not fun or creative, I know. Broken words and empty promises filled the air with "the system will help", that's a whole lot of BS. Besides, surviving in this way is not so bad. I have an amazing partner with the heart of a warrior and the instict of a fighter. He's by me. Over everything I told him before about this way of survival, he still stands by me every step of the way against all odds in hope AND work for something more, for something better. He tells me: "I'm not going to leave you alone dealing with all of this". Soon the visits stopped and he would come along in my survival journey and I can't get it out of my head. I don't think that anyone would have made it this far with me. This is the lowest I have ever been. The pain that I feel when I look into those dark and sometimes tired eyes just makes my soul crumble and shake for a brief moment. He loves me. That's why he's here with me. Over what anyone could say, he is here and we are working to be so much better than we were yesterday. I don't know what tomorrow will bring for us, but one thing I do know for sure is that I'm going to marry my best friend. Yes, it is we.

I'm sorry.

Moon

Poetry is my only escape. I feel at home when I write, whenever I put my pencil down, it feels like something got taken from me. I just want to live this life with Art.
