Diamond Lady

She shines brighter than the stars

Diamond Lady

She rises in diamonds,

a blaze of white heat,

every stone singing,

every line alive.

Her hat is a kingdom,

wide as the night,

curtains of sparkle

fall at her command.

Her dress is thunder,

shaped out of light,

diamonds flowing

like rivers of fire.

Crowds keep their distance,

too stunned to speak,

they feel her power

cut through the air.

Her man stands near her,

steady and proud,

knowing she keeps him

close to her flame.

She owns the moment,

she owns the room,

a diamond lady,

glorious and untamed.

Are you sure she is not a 'diamond in the rough' so to speak and just showing off. Good job.
