Detective Brown was on the train,
Riding along, feeling no pain,
But her peace was disrupted, with a cry,
A passenger's jewellery, was stolen, on the sly.
She sprang into action, with haste,
To catch the thief, with her grace,
She chased him through carriages, one by one,
But the thief, was fast, and on the run.
He jumped from carriage to carriage,
As she followed, with a fierce advantage,
He pushed passengers out of the way,
But Detective Brown, was not far astray.
She finally caught up with him in the dining car,
Where he had barricaded himself, behind a bar,
She kicked the door open and tackled him to the ground,
The thief was apprehended, with a resounding sound.
The thief struggled and fought,
But Detective Brown's strength, could not be bought,
She wrestled the knife from his hand,
And put him in handcuffs, with a commanding hand.
The jewellery was recovered, and returned,
The passenger, now relieved, and unburned,
Detective Brown felt a sense of pride,
For she had helped, and justice abide.
As the train pulled into the station,
Detective Brown, felt a satisfaction,
She had solved the case, with great skill,
And the thief, would face his fill.
She handed him over to the authorities,
And took a deep breath, feeling victorious,
Another case solved, on her own,
Detective Brown, had done it again, on her own.
