ever met a person out of no where
feeling like you’ve fallen in love but your full of fear
detached and keeping them at bay
guarding your heart but your soul resonates
oooh I want to love you but I’m feeling detached
held it down when I needed someone, didn’t second guess and you pulled up,
been my confident since day one, allowing me to feel safe, can’t nobody take your place,
still feeling detached mind full of what if’s, but the space is well needed, I don’t want to be conceited, it’s only for the season, but your still my boo no teasing,
