Where am I going on this earth?

What’s happening next for me?

I’d like to think I have a say

In my own destiny

*

But often life will throw a curve

I wasn’t quite expecting

Which takes me on another path

Outside what I was projecting

*

Like a ship on the horizon

Like a plane up in the sky

I will more than likely find

Where I am going by and by

*

The winds can be tempestuous

The going can be tough

Sometimes when life gets difficult

I want to scream, “ENOUGH”

*

But then a gentle whisp’ring breeze

Will kiss my tears away

And reassure me that I’m strong

To fight another day

*

Where am I going on this earth?

What’s happening next for me?

I’d like to think I have a say

In my own destiny

*

Like a ship on the horizon

Like a plane up in the sky

I will more than likely find

Where I am going by and by

Being retired and working part-time, I often think about what will have me in retirement permanently though. Will I have a say, maybe so. I'm guessing it will be no. I enjoy working and sharing what I know. ❤️😊💕
