Sands swept to the sides,

Dry skin picked from scales,

The vultures circle.

A/N: This is once again a little haiku to space between larger stories - I hope you enjoyed! I very much enjoyed writing it, I was hosting my writing club when I did so!

I am writing several projects right now, and I feel I am falling in love with it all over again!

Really liked this the pics and your words went so well together

  • Despite having a phobia of snakes, I actually felt sorry for the poor darling 🥺.

Ahhh, that moment when you fall in love with your work all over again!! I love that so much!! Can't wait to see what else you come up with!! The haiku felt like a metaphor for an untrustworthy person. So good!!

This had me crying with in moments, that song somewhere my love. Oh my dads twin sister aunty Nelly used to sing it to my two daughters when they where babies. I instantly went back to her standing with a shawl wrapped round my eldest Joanne. She sang this song so softly ❤️❤️❤️❤️
