Deprivation

“The Original or the Imitation “

“Deprivation”

Eyes open hazily

My body is heavy

Another false awakening?

Unclear is the path

I feel weak

I feel lost

I am hopeless

The sound of rolling thunder

A soothing melody

This is not a dream

But am I awake?

A foggy dream state

A week of 20 hour wakefulness

My sleep...

A restless cycle of vivid dreams

Unfolding cryptic messages

I am not here

I am unsure

I am slowly fading

By luck alone I am still here

The rolling thunder is ominous

A passing pattern of thoughts

Where my darkness stays caged

A rusted prison decaying

A seal withering with time

The whispers of a soul tainted

Consumed by rage

With vengeance fueled by trauma

My doppelgänger awaits In solitude

She is in harmony with darkness

Ignited, manifested, infectious

Her return to consciousness is inevitable
