Dental Visit

Cool and non invasive the gel moves across my gums numbing me until it comes……then an unnoticeable prick from the needle tip

soothing are the voices of nurses as they assure me I won’t feel a thing

with every nervous breath the mix of peppermint and metallic filled air reach my lungs

opening my eyes to the bright and shining light as a buzzing tooled hand reaches in to drill the achy tooth

Then a second tool and the loud hard crack as another tooth is separated from jaw and the warm rush of adrenaline filled salty blood runs over the tounge, gone just as quickly as clean water with hints of plastic rinse it away.
