Sure, I can delete your photo

Your text and your number

But how do I delete your face

Your voice and our memories?

They’re stuck in my head

Like a movie playing on repeat

Your smile etched in my mind

Your soft laugh rings in my ears

Your gentle voice echoes in the walls

Your warm touch lingers around

Us being together flashed through my mind

A tear fell down my cheek until more came

I cried and cried so much

That it hurt to breathe

I screamed and yelled at myself

To erase you

Delete you from my life

But I just can’t.

I love you.
