Definition of Me

Poem I wrote with conscious thoughts about myself. Written in Oxford.

By Chloe GilholyPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

All the things I own are a part of me

Books; never have too many of them.

Cha, Cha, Cha; that’s Japanese, Chinese and Indian for tea

Depeche Mode; just can’t get enough

England born and bred

Fields far away are flowers of me

Goals are plenty

High on caffeine

Iceland on my mind

Japanese culture is the

Key to my heart

Love I am full of it

Matcha is my drink of choice

Nightwish makes me happy

Pim is the man who keeps me up at night

Queenie was my first cat bless her soul

Regal like the other loves gone from this world

Sugababes are sweet

tea is my life

Underground is my zone

very fragmented yet everything comes together

Wonderful things I see

X’s are fine from my life

you may think it’s strange

Zealous perhaps

performance poetry
