It's said that power comes from walkin' away,

mingled with the pain from letting go.

Let me tell you, it’s not as simple as they say,

when you're walking into the unknown.

*

You feel you're falling off the deep end,

can't imagine what you're needing.

All alone and tangled up,

even after effects of this broken thing called love.

*

It goes so fast, watch out, you'll miss it.

it's calling out, are you listening?

So many look alike's and wanna be's,

it's hard to see what you need even when you think you see it.

*

So close your eyes, fall asleep alone tonight,

dreaming of the right one by your side.

Falling for fools with golden tongues and the right words,

who don't have a clue or care about your worth.

*

When you feel you're falling off the deep end,

can't imagine what you're needing.

All alone and tangled up,

in the after effects of this broken thing you called love.
