Defenders of freedom, a noble cause,
We march to the beat of a martial drum.
With courage in our hearts, and strength in our jaws,
We'll face any foe, and overcome.
With rifles in hand, and spirits true,
We'll defend our land, and all it's due.
We'll stand tall, and never cower,
Against any threat, at any hour.
Through storm and through fire, we'll never tire,
For freedom's sake, we'll go the extra mile.
We'll fight for the rights of every sire,
And for the future, we'll always smile.
With honor and pride, we'll always abide,
For we are the defenders, of freedom's tide.
We'll face the enemy, with strength and might,
And show them what it means to lose a fight.
For we are the Marines, and we'll always stand,
As the defenders of freedom, in this land.
But when the battle's done, and peace is won,
We'll remember the sacrifice, of everyone.
For freedom is not free, it comes with a cost,
But the price is worth it, when all is lost.
So here's to the defenders, of freedom's light,
May they always stand, and always fight.
For the cause of freedom, till the end,
For the sake of all, till the bitter end.
