Deep in the Earth

Start over

Deep in the Earth

The summer heat and the clamor of life

When the ear-splitting cicadas rule the earth

All things fall into the noise

The sky will rain heavily

Let the sound of continuous rain regain the lost ground

And subdue those crazy hearts

I opened my mouth to scold my daughter

The sound of my voice

I was silenced by the rumble of thunder

I was dumbfounded and laughed

It turns out that a rough adult like me

is also in the dynamic balance of nature

I wanted to thank the thunder

The thunder has gone away, without a trace

It was as if it had never existed

And the rain has stopped

The joyful birdsong with clear strokes

Gathering up the flooded mountains and land

nature poetry
